Saturday night we’re welcoming Alice Terwilliger to 48 North Pizzeria & Pub — a true neighborhood band that has been making music together in Portland’s Collins View neighborhood since 1989! Most of the band members have lived just blocks from one another, and for decades Alice Terwilliger has been part of the neighborhood soundtrack, playing the annual summer block party along with private parties and gatherings throughout the years. Their sound is rooted in classic rock with some softer vibes mixed in, but what really comes through is a group of longtime friends and neighbors who genuinely love making music together. Adam is an Oregon singer-songwriter with a unique sound rooted in classic country storytelling, 70s folk rock, and a little bit of blues mixed in. His songs are inspired by barroom nights, working-class people, and life in the Pacific Northwest. When Adam isn't playing solo, you can find him jamming with his band, the Rusted Evergreens. The two met by chance in an Uber, stayed in touch, and eventually started writing music together.
