NEW MUSIC SPOTLIGHT: Woze

Wednesday, September 16, 8-10pm

LIVE MUSIC: YOUR NEXT FAVORITE LOCAL ARTIST MIGHT BE PLAYING WEDNESDAY NIGHT AT 48 NORTH.
Introducing Live Music: New Music Spotlight at 48 North — Wednesday nights dedicated to fresh faces, new sounds, and artists stepping onto our stage for the first time.
Each week we will spotlight new-to-us musicians getting a chance to play live for the 48 North crowd, find some new fans, and see what happens.
Some might be playing one of their first shows. Some might be names you’ll be hearing a lot more of.
Either way, you can say you saw them here first.
Tonight we introduce you to WOZE - an indie project from Winston Taylor and Zac Shober, blending harmony-heavy psych rock, Midwest emo, indie pop, and whatever else finds its way into the room. The two met by chance in an Uber, stayed in touch, and eventually started writing music together. Their songs come from a collaborative, back-and-forth process, pulling from different influences and instincts to create something uniquely their own.
